Creating a DVD usually consists of the following process:

• Encoding - The process of running the footage in and converting it to the DVD format MPEG2
• Authoring - Creating & Designing Menus, Graphic Building, Navigation and Linking Structures
• Multiplexing - Creating the files ready for the disc, flattening the structure ready for output.
• Writing - Writing the disc to either DVD or DLT tape from the final disc image.
• Testing - The process of going through the disc to make sure all links work correctly and all videos play with equal consistency.
• Customer Approval - We give the customer a finished version of the disc to check through which is watermarked for testing purposes only, Once they are happy with the final product, we then remove the watermark and create a final master ready for Duplication or Replication.
